History

The purpose was in the beginning to learn how to build web sites. As subject I looked for something where I thought I had some special knowledge, and thought that improvised dance with traditional Swedish dance music could suit that purpose.

Inch by inch the site was developed, e.g. by a script based dance calendar (at that time I lacked possibility to use databases for the site). After some years the page was moved, and it became possible to use dynamic pages based on database contents.

After many years also Outdoors and Dog sections were added. These are of course not dance related, but I felt that in these areas I had eventually some experiences that also might be of interest for those sharing similar interests.
