Gnesta is a village that deserves attention for those interested in folk music and dance. Here a folk music tradition is united to enjoy of dance among people of all ages.
For those living in Stockholm and travelling with SL (the community carrier) the travel might be an issue, but those having visited this event once like to revisit.
The short walk from the railway station to the nice dancing room Elektron got us awake, and we could soon notice that the dancing floor had a very smooth and nice feeling.
Different musicians there relieved each other every half-hour, and it was not easy to decide which one to obey to get some pause and coffee.
The dance contained a nice mix of traditional Swedish dances.
Too soon it was time to leave and walk back to the railway station. It was too soon - an error in the time table for the train made us miss half an hour of dance.
